The first step is to open a share account with a stockbroker. This share account is maintained in the Central Share Depository (CSD) operated by the Lusaka Stock Exchange (LuSE). The LuSE does not use physical certificates. Therefore the CSD is an electronic record of all investors on the LuSE.
